Obviously the speakers and stereo are coming out too but I only had my torx wratchets (for the seat belt mounts) so that’ll be later. My goal was to get to bare metal so that the roll bar be welded in now that it’s fabricated and ready for install. Woo hoo!

The whole reason for the track car is to keep that E60 in one piece.

Stereo and speakers and speaker wiring all gone now too. In the back anyway — I’ve not opened up the doors yet.

What kind of car is this?

1992 Corvette with an LT1 engine. It’s replacing a 911 Carrera 4 that inhaled and expelled it’s engine bits all over Laguna Seca in February.
It’s a street legal track car for time trials and the like. It’s becoming one anyway. Once the bar goes in it’ll be track ready where I find out all the other things aside from the shit tires that need fixing.
